LazyLlama Campground

Welcome to our unique family friendly campground. We are centrally located between Johnson City and Tusculum university at Greenville, yet still have the country side feeling that Eastern Tennessee has to offer. We are family owned and operated and invite you to stay at our campground where you can view llamas on the farm next door.  Llamas were raised in the farm next door for over 22 years now.

We were able to keep the numerous 50 year-old maple trees for shade throughout the park. Building this unique and intimate campground infused with beautiful llamas from the farm next door, storytelling, and local historical culture, has been a labor of love for us. Please do note that the Llama farm next door is not associated with the campground. If you have any specific questions about the farm, please send us an email and we can send you to the right contact.

LazyLlama Campground, located in Chuckey, Tennessee, is a 8-acre Park consisting of about 5 well maintained acres and 3 acres of green pasture. Small Pop-Up campers as well as Big Rigs, up to 45’, are welcome here. We offer 34 Full Hookup sites, including 6 Pull-thru sites, and 28 Back-in sites. All sites are full hook up with 50/30/20-amp electric, water, sewer, and free 1 Gig Wi-Fi. We offer nightly, weekly, and monthly stays and are open year round. LazyLlama consistently rates 8/9.5/8.5 with Good Sam Club in prior years. LazyLlama campground features a children’s play area, an organic and pesticide free garden for vegetables and a small walking trail in the wooded area of the campground. We are also located walking distance from the local ball field. The park roads are great for walking and approximately 2.5 times around the perimeter is a mile helping you to reach your 10,000-step goal! We are pet friendly too! The bathhouse, also known as “LlamaMat”, offers 2 clean handicap accessible showers, men’s and ladies’ restrooms and coin operated washers and dryers. We also sell Llama souvenirs.

LazyLlama is “Newbie” friendly. We welcome you to the RV family. We were all new once and understand how confusing it can be when just starting out. We will happily share our knowledge, assist you in setting up while teaching you some “tricks of the trade.”
We look forward to your visit with us!
